When a VPS?
Shared hosting is fine for most sites. But if you have lots of visitors, a busy shop, heavy plugins or many clients, you want resources that are yours alone. With a VPS you share the server with no one, and you decide the configuration.

I install the server with LiteSpeed and, if you like, cPanel. I keep the system up to date, watch it 24/7 and step in when there are problems. What is the difference with regular hosting?
With a VPS the processor, memory and storage are yours alone. No neighbours slowing down your site.
Do I get root access?
If you want it, yes. By default I manage the server fully, so nothing can go wrong.
Can it run cPanel?
Yes, with or without cPanel, whatever you prefer.
